Liquid Gold

The sun was falling and the lake softly shimmered.  Covered in liquid gold, the surface resembles that of a fine foil.  Gently rippled, a lazy reflection danced as the day drew nearer to the night.  A whisper came as the warm wind pushed toward the shore.  "Stand here and stay here and know here."  Lifted by the promise of beauty offered, softly I replied, "I will."  Struggling to accept all this beauty that surely must not be just for me, I look around, eyes wide open, seeing the love that Nature offers is whole hearted, inclusive and fulfilling.
