Spiritual Fortune

Something more beautiful I thought to myself as I headed west to the place that holds part of my heart.  Transformational from the physical sense of beauty that lies before me, as to one that has been such a spiritual fortune.  Stunning emerald green and blue water of the big lake was before me.  When preparing to enter the icy waters, I first begin a procedural breathing exercise to slow my heart beat and calm the excitement that races through my body.  I watch the light.  My body shakes and trembles as feelings and emotions move through.  Blessed in the most beautiful things in life, I close my eyes and gently sway back and forth in the water.  The spirit moves.
