Winter's Serenity

Just a few short months ago I stood in a field of most beautiful sunflowers, barefoot and sinking down into the moist warm soil. It was all surrounding.  Months colder and more layered I'm snug and warm overlooking this greatest lake.  I seem to feel the same now as I did back then.  I seek to find the best in the beauty that always seems to wait just to be wandered through. The cold winds picked up moisture from the lake delivering a fresh new blanket of the purest whites.  My heart beats here, my heart know here and my heart loves here.
