Pristine and untouched, I sensed a beauty that seemingly just lay waiting. Somewhere close and so silent, unheard and so delicate, overnight I know the snow did fall. Up before first light and long before the dawn, I knew it was just for me, I lay flat and connect with the roots that surely must tie all this beauty together.
